How have these people managed to make it this far in life?
20 Ridiculous Complaints made by holidaymakers (that's travellers for the Americans)
My favorites:
"No one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children were startled"
"It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England it only took the Americans three hours to get home." (And we Americans get stereotyped as ignorant in geography!)
"The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the accommodation'. We're trainee hairdressers - will we be OK staying here?"
Do you feel intelligent now? Or just frightened for humanity?
What a great insight into the minds of our population. I also read through the companion article entitled "20 Most Ridiculous Questions Asked By Tourists". My favorite 2 were:
ReplyDelete"Which direction is North in Australia?" -Really?
"Do you know of any undiscovered ruins?"
Hkilarious. I think part of the problem isn't so much people being stupid, but people being sooooo lazy that they just don't even try to think for themselves anymore. It's less work to ask someone than to actually fire those synapses yourself.
Good show, people.
BTW - I love your blog name!!!
Those bastards quoted me without letting me know!!!
ReplyDelete"The beach was too sandy."
Gotta love Bobbie's comment!
